The Ananda sets a new standard for river cruising in Myanmar – a destination that is just starting to open up after many years in isolation. Built to exceed local standards and with modern safety equipment throughout, the Ananda also sets a new standard for river passenger vessel safety in Myanmar.
Working with local partners Upland Company (owned by two Myanmar brothers), R Shipping are proud to have been involved from the very start of the project. Our work included ship design, project costing, full technical specification, interior design and overseeing the construction process from start to finish – including Sin Lloyds and DMA certification.
